About
Welcome to Gaudì, a charming pizzeria nestled in the heart of Rome at Via Ruggero Giovannelli, 8/12. This delightful eatery not only embodies the spirit of Italian cuisine but also invites you to experience the magic of traditional flavors in a captivating atmosphere.
Upon entering Gaudì, you are greeted by a clean, spacious environment that radiates warmth and hospitality. Reviewers consistently highlight the welcoming staff who go above and beyond to accommodate guests—setting a positive tone even for those arriving without a reservation. The ambiance is enhanced by a large patio, perfect for enjoying your meal outdoors under the Italian sky.
What truly sets Gaudì apart is its impressive pizza. Patrons rave about the memorable crust, a perfect blend of texture and flavor that serves as the ideal base for a variety of toppings. One customer, Kade Parry, emphasized just how amazing the pizza was, making it clear that this is a must-try for anyone visiting.
Another noteworthy feature is their innovative buffet-style lunch, where you can relish a selection of pizzas alongside a variety of fresh vegetables. As noted by YMK WEBFEST, the abundance of cherry tomatoes not only adorns the pizzas but also adds a burst of flavor that is irresistible.
For those considering an early visit, it’s worth noting that while the full menu becomes available at 7:30 PM, a selection of pizzas and salads is available from 6:00 PM. This allows you to savor Gaudì's delightful offerings even if your plans are a bit ahead of schedule, much like Michael Key discovered.
In addition to the culinary delights, the strategic location of Gaudì makes it a convenient stop for travelers; as Herman Niekamp mentioned, it is perfectly situated for a quick bite before continuing your exploration of Rome.
In conclusion, Gaudì is not just a pizzeria; it is an experience filled with exceptional food, friendly service, and a setting that captivates the senses. Whether you seek a leisurely meal with friends or a quick stopover during a busy day, Gaudì promises to deliver an unforgettable taste of Italy.
“ Hop off the bus right in front. Hop back on. This is a sweet experience for the short on time. ”
“ Gaudi Pizzeria is good one. Lunch time you can eat buffet style variety vegetables with the pizzas. Noticed a lot of cherry tomatoes on the top of pizza and mixed vegetables and even on the table paper. I wonder why. The cherry tomatoes tastes so good. Must try again. ”
“ Yummy pizza spot right near the Borghese Palace. We stopped in before a tour and enjoyed a lovely rooftop lunch. We liked the space they had within the inside and outside, and found the service good. It was during the business lunch hour - so our servers attentions were shared with trying to a accommodate a few large business groups- but if you need a quick stop before the Borghese, we'd recommend for sure. ”
“ We arrived early (due to the hours being wrong on Google), but they were kind enough to seat us and allow us to order early. Also, the place is charming and clean. Most importantly, the pizza was amazing! The crust was especially memorable. Highly recommended! ”
“ Surprised there was so much space and glad they accommodated us even if we didn’t have a reservation! Food and service were great. ”
“ This was the first place I ate at when I arrived in Rome. My pizza was not bad, but I must say this was the least favorite pizza in Rome. The middle of the crust was soft and soggy, the bottom outer layer was burnt and it seemed to lack cheese compared to the other pizza I had in Rome. The rooftop view was nice and there were a lot of locals there, maybe i just ordered a bad dish... ”
“ Restaurant with a large patio. They open at 6:00 but only with a limited menu or pizza, salad and "fried". No pasta or other dishes until 7:30. Their bar can make basic cocktails. Pizza was pretty good. Check out my profile for more great eateries and craft cocktail bars. -VanPort Insider ”
